Peanut Butter & Jelly Cookies

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. soft butter
1 egg
1 c. grape jelly
1/2 c. peanut butter chips or 3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, butter and egg. Stir until smooth. Place 1/2 c. of mixture in greased 9 inch square pan. Press down firmly. Spread 1 cup grape jelly. Sprinkle with peanut butter chips or peanut butter. Crumble remaining mixture on top. Bake at 375º for 25 minutes or golden brown. Cool; cut into squares.
